I can never be that girl
I've tried to hard and failed.
I don't want anyone to see,
just how many scares are on me.

You showed me how things work
you made me believe in my self
but something else hurts,
like a train running over my heart.

I don't blame you
for wanting to walk away
I just thought you were a friend
and now you're on my brain tonight.
