Get good grades.
Go to college.
These words mock me everyday.
They put all the weight back on my shoulders
After it all has gone away.
It reminds me of my future,
A future I’m not in a hurry to see.
I’m a kid no matter what you say.
I want to do what normal kids do all day.
I want to play on the swings.
I wanna play tag with a boy I like.
I want to have a life!!!!
You’re not in control!
I am!
My life is not in your hands!
