Prose is like walking but poetry is like dancing.

Tiny white stars drift through the air,
Coming from the sky with the wishes glowing there.
Snowflakes turn the world to diamond-covered white.
Hope dances around this beautiful sight.
Miracles happen to those who continue to believe,
So make your wish on Christmas Eve.

The author's comments:
There's a little kid with lukemia in the hospital around where I live, and for Christmas, he has asked the nurses for one million Christmas cards. So my class all made him Christmas cards today and I wrote this poem inside of one. Happy Christmas, Max! I hope your Christmas wish comes true!

Aww, that's so sweet. I hope you're able to get a million of cards.

Thanks, I just hope that enough people are participating for him to get all million cards that he wants, because that's a lot of cards, and our school is way too small to get anywhere close to that.

Sure thing, I'll take a look at it right now.
