Lost in Darkness

As bright as the ever burning sun,
As dim as a single flame.
But it has proven true,
And equally the same.
Unworthy I am
For a love such as yours,
You deserve better
Something much more.
Though you don't understand
Nor can you comprehend,
Why, though my love is forever,
This journey must end.
But only for now,
For I vow to return.
Because amongst all the darkness,
My flame will still burn.
