The thunder sounds in the distance and the lightning flashes deep in the sky. Rain clouds are rolling and the wind is whirling. Water falls, drop by drop, stream by stream. Cool and refreshing, hard and damaging. The thunder is now deafening, the lightning viciously striking. Rain clouds angry and dark, wind tearing everything in its path. Water falling, pattering to the ground. Puddles are splashing, the ground drowning. The waters rising, the rain falling. The drops hit, the thunder screams, lightning strikes, the rain falls.
The rain falls.
The rain falls.

This poem spawned off my love of thunder and lightning.
