Dreading Winter
Shivering in the cold, day after day
Temperatures dipping into the negative numbers
Still being expected to wait at the bus stop
Luckily winter only comes once a year
I can’t stand winter
The bitter harsh cold
The wind going straight threw me, sending chills down my spine
Winter is not a very pleasant time
But I guess there are some pros
Christmas comes with winter!
All the joy and happiness that strings along
And what Christmas comes with….there must be snow!
The glistening white blanket that covers every square inch
Not wanting to lay a foot in the snow, it looks to serene
So winter is all not that bad
There is Christmas to look forward to as well
And also some snow maybe an inch or two?
Or even a foot or so?
But still winter is winter
There’s no changing it
I guess I’ll just have to deal with it…for now
