Blooming,
like a delicate flower,
you begin to fall asleep,
your eyes flutter,
safe and sound,
your youth lies in a timeline,
growing,
in to something beautiful,
each moment,
a grain of sand,
piled into a castle,
like the ones you made at the beach,
as a child,
each moment,
more precious than the other,
each moment,
knows no reality to live in,
like the fairy tales,
that live in between the walls,
of your imagination,
each moment,
does not stop for approval,
but continues on with faith.

The author's comments:
This poem is about cherishing your childhood, but also blooming in to the person you grow up to be. It's about how "each moment," is a journey that often happens very fast.
