Lights go by,
shining in a whirl,
a habit,
spun out of control,
running far,
far away,
from yourself,
no where to run,
spinning,
and spinning,
four walls closing,
blocking the emotion,
on the outside looking in,
a longing to be free,
sets in the bones,
of a girl,
running,
in circles,
but to love without a care,
she abandons herself,
from happiness,
to be a safe,
lonely,
a time must come,
to face this fear,
that cages us in,
we must,
stop the cycle,
and simply be,
free,
from ourselves.
