My Pain

I'm always in pain,
I can never get away.
I need a way out.
I'll gladly greet that day.
A throbbing in my head,
A sharp pain in my knee.
That aching in my chest,
Someone set me free.
Nothing will help it.
Nothing stops the burn.
Maybe if I can find
Those drugs for which I yearn.
One day soon
I'll be rid of this pest.
One day soon,
I'll find my rest.
