They like to be praised
So they praise our “almighty god”
They build big churches
They beseech priests and priestesses
To bind us to their “rights”
To bind us to their “wrongs”
To make us believe
So humble they are
So humble that they will not confess
That still we are blind to see in the blackest of darkness
We are helpless
We will never really know
If there is a heaven or if there is a hell
If there is a god or if there is a devil
All that we can do is hope and pray
So we live in fear in the day-to-day
We live in fear of what we do
Even though we indeed have no clue
