Falling
Falling,
i am falling
I hit the top, spent without a sound,
surreptitious,
in the resolute ink
I run,
run across the surface,
gritty, broken texture,
speed bumps with no end.
Down i go
through the stench of seasoned mud,
past outbursts of fury and rage, forgotten.
The eternal tick-tock continues,
the heavens are illuminated anew,
the air no longer obscured,
a fresh scent of day
so strong you can taste the breeze,
crisp and clean.
Gone to the world i am
one to lost
Falling,
i am falling
