Maybe if I were more confident, could I be remembered?
Maybe if I were stronger, could I take the beatings of this world?
Maybe if I were a little prettier, or a little thinner, could I slip through life a little easier?
Maybe if I wallowed the pain a little bit, could I actually start to care?
Maybe if I hand myself over to the darkness, could I forget how sweet the light tastes?
Maybe if I cut a little deeper, could I be repulsed by the blood I see?
