If it wasn’t a secret-
I would gladly tell you.
The words would flow from my mouth
As salt water flows through the ocean current.

If it wasn’t a secret-
I might tell you.
You might be able to drag the words from me
Only if you play your cards right...

If it wasn’t a secret-
I still wouldn’t tell you.
My lips sewed tight together.
Not even your sly speech could pry them open.

But it is a secret.
So you will never know.
