Last Summer
November 23, 2011
Thinking back to this summer, I was talking non-stop,
to a blue-eyed boy that made my heart drop.
Thinking back to this summer, I always had a smile.
We held hands, then took it the extra mile.
Thinking back to this summer, I was young and in love.
I thought God had sent him from Heaven above.
Thinking back to this summer, when we went to the fair,
all was perfect until you made my heart tear.
Thinking back to this summer,I was young and foolish.
Oh how could I ever love someone who acts somewhat mule-ish.

God, brings me right back to this past summer. The last line made me laugh out loud...whether that was your intent or not take it for what it's worth. Here's to love and the summer, well done!
