She stands at the edge of the Meadow
Wondering, looking, listening-
Hesitating-
Step by step she walks, foot after foot
To the middle of the Meadow
She sighs then embraces Mother Nature…
She slowly sinks into the warm arms of the sun soaked grass…
She thinks delicate thoughts
As the wind whispers-
Whispers soft caresses and plays with her long golden hair…
She is content and Home at Last


The author's comments:
This poem is written based on my love of nature, the feel of the sun soaked grass on your body, and the sounds one can escape so easily into; its peaceful, gorgeous and a second Home.

Thank you, and yes, I have a lot of love for this topic...If I could I would move to a secluded Island and have a simple beach cottage, i would simply live off of the Island;to bad its all unrealistic.
