Out of sight out of mind

I appear to slip in and out of peoples reminiscence. Yet I desire to be a memory that precedes, continues, and lasts. A memory that will penetrate and kill! One that survives against all odds. I crave to be the best dream and a worst nightmare. How could one forget such an impactful chain of events? How could one just simply formulate another persons disappearance from existence? I am fighting for another chance to exist, a chance to remain. I have drifted so far, I hold no place in conscious minds. I am isolated and forever alone.
