Anger
Fire rages,
Across my mind, across my eye
I am blinded
Blood boils,
In my body, in my head
Thoughts are blocked
Words roll
Off my tongue, on my emotion
I am angry
Cannons fire,
Flying quick, flying smooth
My gut drops
Memory fails,
Visions play, sound is mute
I don’t know what I have said
Blood rushes,
To my face, to my head
Rationality begins to return
Color drains,
From my façade, from my surroundings
I have hurt someone
Tears burn,
Behind my eyes, under my skin
I cannot – must not – cry; tears make me seem weak, if they only knew my fight
