Two books. Propped up on a shelf.
A little girl skips in. Around twelve.
One book is well known. A child fairytale.
The other, now sitting alone. Is a a bit higher reading.
A mystery.
Now, I ask a question. Which book will she be leaving?


The author's comments:
This is a short poem about a little girl decideing which book to read, but it goes deeper and really referrs to two different personalities. And which one will the girl choose. The easier one that everyone has read. Or the higher reading level that not many people have read. Hmmmmm...
