Spring has come
Seas of green grass
Rainbows of flowers

Summer comes as Spring goes
Flowers are in full bloom
Trees like an ocean of Emeralds

As Summer leaves as Fall moves in
A mine of rubies and gold
Temperatures drop as we await a flood of diamonds

Fall flies away as winter sweeps in
Trees glisten with crystals
The world becomes a fluffy white sheet of snow

The author's comments:
Well, I love the seasons and this seemed like a perfect way to express that feeling. I used Diamonds/Crystals for Ice because it looks just like them, and glistens like diamonds and crystals do. The rainbow of flowers was to represent the wide span variety of colors that flowers are in the spring. The sea/ocean was used to represent large quantities of green, like forests, fields, and lawns.
