Like Fire in my Soul
Anger
Anger at what they had done to me

 It flowed through me
Through my veins and into my soul
And there it was like fire
 Fire in my soul

It burned, fierce as a tiger
 And darkness swept over me
I saw red, and felt the hot blaze

 I was a like a tornado
 Destroying everything in my path

 The fire built
 And it surged through me
Until I couldn’t hold it anymore

 And I let it out
 Out into the world
And slowly the fire left me
As a cool wave of calm washed over me
And inch by inch I regained my control

 And the darkness left me
I saw the damage I had done
 To everyone around me
 And I felt regret.
