Replace me
For I am broken
I can no longer function the way you’ve always had me
Ineffective, aged and dull
I’m unpleasant to stare at
As though I was a porcelain doll that has been melted away by the flames of insanity
Don’t dear to pick me up!
You can no longer embrace me
I’ve been dropped one too many times on the solid bitter floor
The sound of something cracking being replayed constantly like a broken record
Though I have become nothing to you, it hurts to think you’ll just throw me away
As though I was garbage
Won’t you please just keep me concealed amongst those that have yet to wither away?
Won’t you please just keep me in the back where I’ll be masked away?
Where I will collect dust and webs for as long as I don’t shatter
At least that way, I’ll be able to stay and have a home
Even if it means to be forgotten, to fade away into the dark
At least I’ll be able to hear your voice with my wrecked ears
And watch you with miserable, broken down eyes
Until the day I can no longer hold myself together
Before that…..I’ll slowly began to fade away from your loving memories
