The Girl With The Funny Walk
He rolls by in a wheelchair
She only has one leg
People start to make fun
All they do is beg
To just be treated normal
No comments and no stares
The boorish comments people make
How come they don’t care?
The boy with the lisp
The girl with the funny walk
Just one word and they surely start to mock
The challenges that they face
Day by day and year by year
Cripple, freak, and weird,
Are all names that they hear
But words are just words only actions are real
Be courteous to everyone now that’s a great deal
Take a look around we are all different you see
Wheelchair or not be the best you can be!
