The pen tip rests gently on the page
What shall become of the ink within?
Will it tell a story of sorrow or pain?
Of joy, happiness and friendships gained?
Will it tell a story at all?

Painting pictures with words,
The pen moves swiftly
Giving poetic words
From the mind of the wielder

This is not sorrow or pain,
Joy or happiness
This is not a simple story
Of anything lost or gained

These are my words, not my story
Quite simply, this is my poetry
And it is mine alone.

What will become of the ink within the pen?

I love your description. You did an amazing job on this. Keep writing!

If you have a spare second, I'd love it if you would take a check out and rate/comment on some of my work.

Wow! Really good :) I sometimes write poetry about inanimate objects, and I certainly love reading about them. This really spoke to me. Keep writing! :D

Life is so ironic to understand fully, it takes sadness to know what is happiness. noise to distinguish silent and a broken heart to find true love.

I really like it...though I can't say why...I just sounds like something I would think. Great job!!
