Life of a Lonely Soul
She wasn’t always full of grief
She was a girl who wanted
Nothing more than peace

Her life is now filled
With so many lies
It’s hard to tell
How she feels inside

Being eaten away
By so much pain
It’s hard to say she makes it everyday
She tried so hard to be happy

But slipped back into sadness
And tried to keep it all inside
So many times
That all she wants to do is leave this life behind

All she can ever do is sit down and cry

This is an amazing poem! I loved the expression behind the grief of the girl in this poem. Her lost ways s something that we can all relate to though out our teenage years.

amazing poem , love how this expresses some sort of lost the person is grieving . . . at times i can relate because i feel lost but hopefully this person can find a little hope and actually find herself deep within past all the pain
