"I was born with an enormous need for affection, and a terrible need to give it."
- Audrey Hepburn.

Good morning, sunshine.
I thank you for this gift of mine.
To wake up with your face so near,
you make me even shed a tear.
Because you are so beautiful
and only mine for me to hold.
Your chest goes up and down, you see.
I count the beats as you breathe.
I feel so happy in this place.
I touch the shadow on your face.
You stir and open your eyes,
on your lips a smile lies.
It grows and grows into a grin,
and at once, your arms I'm in.

Have a good day, my sweet.
I'll miss you 'til again we meet.
I hold your coffee in my hand.
I wave goodbye from where I stand.
Inside I go to prepare;
I change my clothes and brush my hair.
I drain your cup and grab my keys.
I walk into the falling leaves.
Chills have found the autumn air,
so on my neck, your scarf I wear.
I go to work and do my thing.
When you call, what joy it brings.
All day I work and think of you,
hoping that you miss me, too.

Good evening, my dear.
Your voice is so great to hear.
I've missed you as this day's gone by--
up 'til now, and that's no lie.
Into your arms, I run with glee.
My favorite part's you holding me.
You put me down, give me a kiss,
and wipe away all the miss.
When from the moon I land,
we go inside, hand in hand.
You've got me so mesmerized.
I'm so lost in your eyes.
Before you can say or do,
I want you to know I love you, too.
