I have a heart of stone,
I have a soul of wood,
But with you I feel so alive.
We are nothing but two
People in this world.
Earth evolves, as do we.
We are strangers passing by,
In the rain, through the streets,
But we will talk,
Speak of things such as love,
We will walk side by side,
We will smile together,
And roam the earth
Till we find what we’re looking for
As our souls keep up with our steady pace.

The author's comments:
I met a very inspirational young person that I really hope I grow up with and learn from. We learn from each other everyday. I felt very touched knowing that we have so much to experience but we are around the same age so we will travel and gain knowledge from the world with our souls trying to keep up with us.
