I'm thankful of the past.
The way it changed me.
Watching her yell,
angry bird.
me, fearful.
It made me understand
some people have it hard
They get hit, abused, raped,
worst.
It changed me .
I'm thankful
for my dad,
being there when she wasn't.
when i would yell and scream
all my pains away.
He was,
supportive.
when he saw the wounds,
bloody, scary, gashing, wounds.
he healed them.
thankful,
is what I am
