You walked in ready and waiting
The smell of smoke in the air
Every sense heightened
Breathing in air and exhaling excitement
Every word crisp and amazing
Every move magical
The people flooded in
What started as a puddle
In that basement flooded into an ocean
Consuming that house
One moment tears flowing
The next lips pressing
