School Poem

School is a cycle
It flows like a repeating channel
Of Study Halls and Math classes
It’s like you are glued to a conveyer belt

School is like a river
Flowing smooth and straight
But ever so quick
Making you dread Monday
And hope Friday isn’t far away.

School is like sailing on an ocean
It seems to never end
But when you see the distant shore
You rejoice

But when the year finally comes to a close
You look at school like a retired old man
Looking back at what you have done
And what you haven’t done.
You reflect on it
And then prepare for next year.
