No matter what faults we have
Or if we fight day by day
I'll continue to love you
Every step of the way

Regardless if you leave me
Or say that you don't care
My love will continue to follow you
Any and everywhere

Now a part of my present
Hoping never to put you in past
I want you to be in my future
I want this thing to last

No matter if we're talking
Laughing day to day
I promise I will love you
Every step of the way

Even if we find that
We're not meant to be
I'll still love you
And hope that you'll still love me.

The author's comments:
I'm hoping that this piece will inspire people to look past problems and issues; and take into account things that are more important in the long run. Love isn't what it used to be. It's taken for granted and thrown away much too easily. If people would just take the time to work through things instead of just giving up, they would find much more success and happiness in their relationships and lives.
