It looks like a dragon.

What does?

The cloud.

-

Clouds were her favorite.

They gave her hope.

They gave her her name.

-

It looks like a castle.

What does?

The cloud.

-

Everyday we went out.

To watch the clouds.

She loved those times together.

-

It looks like a bunny.

What does?

The cloud.

-

My sister’s imagination filled every space.

Making up things.

Helping people feel better.

-

It looks lik e a house.

What does?

The cloud.

-

Then Hope got sicker.

My baby was slipping.

Away from me, and the clouds.

-

It looks like a family.

What does?

The cloud.

-

I cried at her beside.

Think of clouds.

Was the last I heard.

-

It looks like my sister.

The cloud.

It does.

-

I sit by myself.

I think of her.

And her clouds.

The author's comments:
When I was upset one day my friend told me to think of clouds. For some reason that really helped me. I wrote this poem for her. I don't really know how I came up with it. It's about a little girl named Hope, who dies of cancer. Told by her sister.
