No Place, No Time
Every move you make,
Every second guess,
Can change everything.
You’re dependent on your team,
Hoping they can defend you,
Yet everyone depends on you,
Hoping you can defend them.
Every move you make,
Every second guess,
Can change everything.
You read the opposing offense,
Judging who is the greatest threat,
While at the same time,
They’re staring you right back down,
Seeing what makes you break.
Every move you make,
Every second guess,
Can change everything.
The pressure builds up and up.
Your heart races as you see them attacking your defense.
One pass later, here they are,
In your territory, on your turf,
Right in front of you,
With a look that could kill plastered on their face.
Now,
There’s no time for wrong moves,
No place for second guesses,
For they will change everything.
