slipping by every hydro-beaten rock,
carving every twist and roll,
sloping around every delta,
and caressing every bend.

A tiny rose floats,
suspended, above a world never seen
and tangled within a world always known
to all, but never cared to stop

for the slightest disturbance
dragged that little rose further down along the river’s “clear as glass” surface
exposing a sight not easily noticed
especially when all you’ve known was the scape of land around

Behold a panoramic high cliff’s peak
which echoes the roar of the swift moving water
tumbling down

which is as scary as leaving home for the first time
or expressing your inner most desire of love,
this waterfall
falls

sucking the little rose into oblivion
thus opening the gates of apprehension
and uplifting to the skies
showing that a waterfall is not merely just water that falls

but rather blue turned white
along the sun’s refracted rays which ignite
the sparkles that seemingly float to glisten colors
only found among water that falls
