Gently rolling down her face
They sting
Wet and cold
Dripping down from her chin
Sliding off her nose
So salty
So sorrowful
the droplets fall from her eyes
So hallow and numb
alone she silently cries
the tears are gifts
of her mourning pain
each one releasing a memory
that drives her insane
a storm lies deep inside
of the eyes of blue
a sea of thrashing waves
'cause the only treasure
she had ever wished for was you
