you breathe out, and I breathe in
'cause we're both fighting a battle we know we'll never win.
you shake with anger, I tremble with fear, then we switch roles but the end is always clear.
I'll pretend I'm okay and you'll say you're alright,
we both want to sleep with a clear conscience tonight.
