i thought you loved me
i thought you cared
as i slowly found out what happened before
my heart began to bruise
a bruised and battered heart
can barely be repaired
especially by the one
who it first
you try and try to heal your mark
but i refuse to have your help
because you were never there
when i needed you the most
so now my heart is
battered and bruised..
