One day I’ll wake up
Wake up to the bright blue sky outside my window
The sun pouring through the glass
The bed big, warm with floral sheets and fluffy pillows;
The sweet aroma of cinnamon buns and coffee filling the air
“Good morning darling” I’ll say.
“Good morning beautiful” you’ll say.
We’ll sit on the couch, under a soft, warm blankie, indulging in our breakfast
The TV displaying an old Disney movie, so old it’s on VHS.
I’ll ask to go out, you’ll say sure.
A day in the city just you and me.
We’ll drive around in your car
Music playing softly
We’ll go to the mall and try everything on; I’ll secretly by you something
We’ll go grocery shopping; you’ll push me in a cart
We’ll even get milkshake and share it like in the movies
Hours will feel like minutes
Minutes like seconds
Soon the bright blue sky will fade to black
Only the moon, the stars, and your eyes to light up the world

I like how you tied back to the begining of your poem by repeating the line 'bright blue sky'
