Of Wind and Snow
Snow drifts,
It blows,
Upwards,
It flows,
No real pattern,
Just cold,
White fluff,
Drifting all around.
The freeze,
Reaching my bones,
But still I sit,
Uncaring,
Sipping,
Something,
Chocolaty and warm.
Wind ruffling my hair,
Rubbing raw my skin,
The simple beauty,
Of snow.
A ruffling wind,
Turning to bellows,
Keeping one from walking,
In a certain direction,
Helping people walk,
In another.
Helpful yet hindering,
A good description?
I think not,
In life you find,
Much is similar,
To the howling beauty,
Of wind,
And of snow
