No more of this
Can’t be too careful
Everything is too careful
Too contained
Too chained to itself
Locked in a cage of self obsession
That no one has the courage
To shred into strips of nothing
Into oblivion
Into gritty relics

Control is just a glass cage
Cutting off all circulation
Making you sorry
You ever opened the door
To let yourself in
But God, the alternative

The only alternative
Is letting yourself run wild
And live
Instead of sitting
Carefully, so very delicately
In a glass house
That you can’t even see out of
