Who Goes There
Eyes close,
a storybook opens.
A child in the night,
quiet and still
but loud thoughts yelling through his head.
Waves crash as stars collide,
and snow falls as the sunshines.
Laughter of children skipping around
and colors of chalk hitting the ground.
A castle far up on a mountain top,
but a dragon guards it; theres so way up.
A trespasser guilty of sneaking in his thoughts...
Still quiet,
staying still.
Loud thoughts still linger from the dreams in his head.
