You & me
On the west coast is where I reside,
Where the wind blows strong against the country side
The sun so sweet on my light deprived skin
The water so cool with dreams to jump in
The mountains grow tall with superiority
The grasses wave lightly with priorities
The cities all around, such a busy place
But on the outside, such a lovely pace
All the little lakes and the rivers too
Eventually meet with the great big blue
The thin grainy sand blows throughout the wind
Flying quietly along, even on my skin
The quaint little towns rest by the seas
What a place to go, just you and me
We can travel far, to and fro
I just wish I could be there
On the west, you know?
