It’s a process
Never easy
Never simple
Healing
It takes time
Time for wounds to close
Healing
Is it worth it?
Don’t we learn from our mistakes?

Always worth a try,
Because living in the past destroys the future.

The author's comments:
I got the inspiration for theis piece from 9the grade...when I was attacked. I couldn't let it go for thee longest time. it was destroying me. it wasn't until i let myself heal that i began to feel normal again.
