Cold and Alone
I dive into the dark surface
The water submerges me
In fear
Air leaves me
Dizzy and confused
Arms flailing
I am failing
No one can hear me
Or see me
The surface taunts me with its normalcy
Waves of thought controlling me
The choice to be made surrounds me
