Marriage is not forever.
A temporary union leads to
Disunion as petty bickering
Tears apart a bond.
Hearts joined together by the
Sound of a minister's enduring
Words become the pounding of a judge's gavel as he announces the
End of the so-called
Everlasting idea of forever

I really love this! You write the truth and my veiws on marriage is its forever, and in hope that your love can withstand anything through good and bad.

I have always seen marrriage as a union that should not be taken lightly but many people do take it lightly. This poem is about my feelings toward the way in which marriage is portrayed these days.

I agree. People today (one of those people being my grandfather) just don't take marriage seriously anymore. It's terrible.
