Twists and turns
A graceful leap
You sweep the floor with your pointed feet
You twirl and whirl around the room
The music surrounding and consuming you
A breath released
A smile projected
You and your ribbon shoes some how feel connected
You spin and spin and hear the music fade
Bringing you to a bow,
You leave the stage
To the roar of the crowd.
