Plans have changed,
nothing's the same,
I can't play,
these little games.
Away from you,
is what I have to do.
Got to stay true to me,
that's not what I used to be.
Hope you see,
this was meant to be.
Finally I have peace in me.

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem because I had a flashback. I remember when I was close friends with someone, and we talked about everything. I now realized I made mistakes talking with this friend. By writing this a rock has been lifted off my shoulder. It brings me a step closer to confronting this issue to that friend.
