Favorite Quote:
Nothing is the culmination of all that is nonexistent

Guilt,
The massive weight
Pressed upon you,
Weighing you down
When you try
To raise yourself up.
Guilt,
The serpent
Wrapped around your chest
Squeezing your heart,
Strangling the joy
Out of you,
Leaving just sorrow.
Guilt,
The cloud of darkness,
Making you
Re-live
Your mistakes,
Time and time again,
With no hope of escape.
Guilt,
The massive weight
Pressed upon you,
Weighing you down
When you try
To raise yourself up.

Guilt is a concept that can vary in meaning from person to person. I hope that people read this poem and see some truth in my words.
