I'm O.K.

we're happy.
that's what we say to ward off questions.
you know the ones
"what's wrong?"
"are you O.K.?"
the kids are all right
peachy keen
with smiles as wide as an
endless
ocean
we fall down
and get back up
left with bruises
that cover
easily
I'm O.K.
I just can't
look at myself in the mirror
and smile, really.
But I'm O.K.

I wrote an SAT essay on this subject. Should we be completely honest with people that ask us these questions. Its very poetic the way you had it end with Im okay. its 5 stars. I love it. The message is good and so is the way you did it.

How am I the first comment on this?! Absurd, I assure you. This is great. I have no other words to describe it.
