What is Family?
Is it just a group of people directly linked genetically?
Is it just some people with the same last name?
In my eyes family is you.
Without family you have nothing,
never mind your existence,
without family you don't know what love is,
without family you don't have memories.
Without family you are a bacteria,
wandering the ocean floor like a nomad, hopelessly searching for answers
to questions that don't even exist.
Without family, life is a frozen tundra.
Cold and miserable until death arrives.
You can have all the friends in the world,
but without a single relative like your mother or father,
you come to realize, blood is thicker than water.
