I'm Sorry

October 26, 2011
By Anonymous

I'm sorry I'll never be as good as you.

I'm sorry that you don't want me around.

I'm sorry that you don't care about me.

I'm sorry that you laugh at me like I don't belong.

I'm sorry that you don't see the real me.

I'm sorry that you will never be able to open your eyes.

I'm sorry that you will never be able to be like me.

I'm sorry that you don't want to be like me.

I'm sorry if you think I don't belong like you.

I'm sorry that you can't look on the bright side.

I'm sorry that you hate me.

I'm sorry that you have to deal with me.

I'm sorry.

I'm so sorry.

Great poem, and it's so true too. Though, it makes me feel sorry for always feeling sorry and never doing anything about it.

I like your use of parallelism, using the same basic phrase, it gives it some gravity. Somehow there is something in it that, toward the end, it makes me feel like I'm the sorry one.
